The Author
Tom Fisher was born in Portsmouth in 1977, and after graduating at the University of Bangor with a BA in English
Tom worked in the Civil Service for three years before obtaining a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education at Oxford Brookes University in 2003.
Since then, he has worked as a teacher of English as a foreign language both in the UK and abroad. Since 2015 he has also worked as an actor, appearing in theatre, film and television. Roles include playing Boris Johnson in the COVID-satire musical, Scotch Egg in 2022.

The actor and writer
Tom also wanted to become a TV comedy writer before becoming interested in acting and since 2019 has returned to writing, but in different ways

His three published works – all released in 2024 are about as diverse as possible: an erotic novel about domination, called Manknapped by Poppy, a collection of dark, psychological poems, Celestial Chess, and a political forecasting guide, which is an adaptation of the ‘keys’ method of Professor Allan Lichtman.
